About the 7,500 GrooveFinder styles
GrooveFinder Full includes a carefully assembled library of approximately 7,500 accompaniment styles. This page explains where they come from, how they are used and how we handle questions from rights holders.
Origin of the library
The collection consists of purchased, self-created or adapted styles. They are supplied as part of GrooveFinder Full without a separate charge. They are not presented as official Yamaha products.
Musically AI-profiled
Each style has been profiled using musical characteristics such as genre, tempo, feel, mood, rhythm, meter, energy and instrumentation. GrooveFinder uses these profiles to find suitable playing suggestions, not to reproduce an original song arrangement exactly.
Full and Own Library Edition
Only GrooveFinder Full includes the approximately 7,500-style library and can show up to five GrooveFinder results alongside up to five personal results. Own Library Edition contains no included styles and searches only your own indexed Yamaha collection.
Your files remain yours
Personal style folders and selected USB drives are indexed locally so GrooveFinder can locate your files. Your style files are not uploaded to us. GrooveFinder never deletes, moves, renames or overwrites your original files.
Copyright and other third-party rights
To the best of our knowledge, the included styles do not infringe copyrights or other third-party rights. GrooveFinder is independent software and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Yamaha Corporation.
Email support@groovefinder.org and include the exact style or filename, your contact details, a description of the right you claim and documents supporting that claim. We review every sufficiently documented report.
If a claim is verified, we remove the style from the current GrooveFinder library. The removal is also included in a following library update so that the supplied GrooveFinder library of existing users is corrected.

Program updates are included with both editions. Future optional expansion packs or standalone premium libraries, if offered separately, are not automatically included in the purchase.
